'Unknown God'

This is Vincent Dowdall's first publication.  The book is about practical spirituality.  It is an open-minded view of God, Physical Life, Body, Mind, Soul, Spirit and the Life Hereafter.  Challenging orthodox Christianity in the light of The Christ's teachings and today's scientific knowledge, it reinterprets Biblical statements about the birth of Jesus, his life, death and resurrection, and relates that to the next stage in the individual's spiritual development.

Titles Being Prepared

'Television Production - From Camcorder to Broadcast TV.'

The book is designed to take the interested person who has not yet bought a camcorder right up to the start of professional programme making.  It is not a technical book. It is about the use of equipment as a means to build professional looking programmes which have no need for verbal explanations or the fast forward button at any viewing. It makes no attempt to replace the instruction books which come with the individual items of equipment.

Making use of Broadcast television as a learning tool it explains both 'How to do it' and 'How not to do it!'. The reader is expected to make programmes and scripts are provided for that purpose. There are chapters about Camera work, Sound and Audio, Lighting, Programme building, Editing and Post-production concerns. The book is still in preparation.
